Many of Bonaire's bats pollinate the cactus.

After learning about Bonaire’s bats at STINAPA headquarters, you’ll take a short walk to a nearby cave to where you will be up close and personal with bats entering and exiting the cave. You will also be able to listen to their echolocation with the use of an ultrasound detector. What to bring: a flashlight (red filters provided), covered shoes and drinking water. Brandaris Trail is a hike to the highest peak on Bonaire, 241 m (784 ft.) high. This is a medium-difficulty climb, and the view from the top is a really fantastic reward for making the trip.
