On one of his diving travels, Hendrik met with a remarkable Dutch man that lives in Papua: Max Ammer.
As a former soldier, Max Ammer came to Irian Jaya to search for airplane and ship wrecks. He located with the help of the Papuan people over 350 shipwrecks and aircraft wrecks in the area of Irian Jaya and Papua New Guinea. By doing so Max became more and more aware of the divers marine life and discovered that his interest in the fish and corals outweighed his interest in the wrecks. He's been living there for years now, working together with the locals to protect their natural legacy and attracting divers to explore the underwater wonders.

Scuba Vision is now working on producing a film on the life of Max Ammer in Papua ; Through him the viewer will get a better understanding of the secret beauty of the nature and the life of the people of Papua. Something we cannot wait for to film!
