BONAIRE RATED #1 DIVE DESTINATION
FOR THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR IN SCUBA DIVING MAGAZINE’S 2005 READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS -
- Bonaire Also Takes #1 in Five Other Categories -

Kralendijk, Bonaire – (December 20, 2004) – The votes are in and Bonaire has once again swept the Scuba Diving magazine’s 2005 Readers’ Choice Awards!

In the 2005 Awards Bonaire received the #1 rating in six Caribbean/Atlantic categories including, for the third year in a row, Top Caribbean Dive Destination (95.4%). Bonaire was also rated #1 for Shore Diving (96.9%), Beginner Diving (96.8%), Underwater Photography (95.4%), Top Marine Life (94.2%) and Snorkeling (84.7%). Additionally the destination placed in the top three in the Top Value and Top Small Animals categories and in the top five in the Healthiest Marine Environment and Top Visibility categories.
For the Reader’s Choice awards thousands of Scuba Diving subscribers and web users rated their dive experiences on a scale of one to five. Final scores represent the percentage of fours and five awarded. Results of the 2005 Awards are featured in the January/February 2005 issue of Scuba Diving magazine.
